What’s Tech Lunch?

Tech Lunch is a livestream series where we dive into real-world architecture and tech news discussions.

How It Works

If you’d like to have your design reviewed on Tech Lunch Review, here’s the submission process:

Prepare Your Submission:
- Submit a high-level, sanitized version of your architecture design. This should be safe for public sharing, with sensitive or proprietary details removed.
- Preferred format: PDFs or other view-only file types are ideal. Clear, high-level diagrams or descriptions work best.

Timing and Scheduling:
- I’ll do my best to accommodate a review time that works for you so you can join, but please note that once a date is set, the stream will proceed at that time, with or without your presence.
- Accepted submissions will receive a confirmation email with the review schedule.
Participation Rules:
- No. Sensitive. Information.: I don’t want to be in trouble, you don’t want to be in trouble. Double-check that all submissions are clear of confidential or sensitive content.
- Focus on Architecture: This is a high-level architecture review, so there’s no need to submit code—and certainly not binaries.

Feedback is collaborative, with an emphasis on general insights, not exhaustive consultancy.

What to Expect

On stream, we’ll review your design, highlighting strengths, areas for improvement, and general insights. The format is relaxed, with participation from the live chat, and you’ll receive a shout-out if you’ve included any links you’d like us to share. Think of this as an opportunity to “bounce ideas” with others in the field, without the pressure of needing to “have all the answers”. Think of it as showing your design to a group of trusted friends who also happen to be skilled in system design.

Moderation: Chat will be heavily moderated (check general chat rules here) to ensure a positive, respectful environment.
Recording and Sharing: Streams may be recorded and shared on our platform or social media. By submitting, you consent to having your design reviewed publicly.
