You can find me on Twitch as wiseoldgeek every Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 12:00 to 14:00 (Brussels time CET/CEST). It’s during my lunch break, so things stay pretty laid-back. We chat about industry trends, tackle some problems, and sometimes just ponder where technology is heading. Why the VTuber avatar?
Good question. Here’s why:
Why not just go on camera?
Using an avatar is convenient and helps me break out of “work mode.” Plus, I usually stream during my lunch hour, so you cannot see my face full of food. Trust me, it’s best for everyone.
Why does your avatar look so … young?
Real talk? That’s the best I could do with my “modelling” skills. I plan to have it redone by a commissioned artist as soon as possible.
Can I trust you?
Well, don’t trust strangers on the Internet to begin with! But I’ve been around tech long enough to know a thing or two. Tune in and decide by yourself
